Mr. Field has been a director of the Nation Publishing Co. Limited since 1996 and was the company’s first Advertising Manager. He held this post for almost 34 years and recently stepped down from the Advertising helm to become a Sales and Marketing Consultant for the organisation. Wilfred is also a director of PrintWeb Caribbean Limited, which provides commercial printing services.
Mr. Field joined the Nation at the tender age of 21, to take up responsibility for the Nation's advertising sales thrust when the paper was still a fledging under-financed enterprise.
Over the years, he has helped to lead the Nation and more specifically the Advertising Department’s successful revenue earning programmes, while building on the NATION-client relationship that has been the hallmark of the organisation’s growth and development over the past 34 years.
He is a member of WAN (World Association of Newspapers), Commonwealth Press Union (CPA), and the INMA (International Newspaper Marketing Association). |
