Mrs. Gittens is a Director of the Nation Publishing Co. Limited and Chief Executive Officer of the Nation Corporation.
With over 20 years’ experience, she is a Certified Management Accountant and a trained Financial Management Consultant. She has worked as a Management Consultant locally and regionally and as a Project and Investment Analyst with several development agencies in the region.
Mrs. Gittens chaired the Public Utilities Board for the last 5 years of its existence and was the deputy chairman of the Fair Trading Commission. She also sat on the Board of Sagicor Life Inc.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados, FCA, and has a MBA: Ohio University, Ohio, USA. CMA:, a Member of Society of Management Accountants, Ontario, Canada, a member of WAN (World Association of Newspapers), Commonwealth Press Union and the INMA (International Newspaper Marketing Association. |
